Love My Way EP

Love My Way is a 4-song EP of 80's new wave tracks by the Pretenders, Yazoo, Gary Numan and the Psychedelic Furs that the band has recorded in a 2-Tone ska and reggae style. The EP is called "Love My Way" in honor of the Psychedelic Furs song of the same name but also to honor the artists on this record -- Chrissie Hynde, Gary Numan, Alison Moyet and Vince Clarke and Richard Butler -- who were each responsible for helping to forge new wave and created iconic classics in the process.

Iron Lion Zion

Our latest single for the Specialized 5 - One Heart compilation!  All proceeds from the sale of this single will benefit the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Specialized Records's vision is a future where young people’s lives don’t stop because they have cancer. We make sure they’re treated as young people first, cancer patients second and everything we do aims to improve their quality of life and chances of survival.
Around six young people aged between 13 and 24 are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK. They need expert treatment and support from the moment they hear the word ‘cancer.’ We’re the only charity dedicated to making this happen. We bring young people together so they can be treated together, by teenage cancer experts, in the best place for them. We educate young people about cancer and work with health professionals to develop their knowledge so we can improve the speed and quality of diagnosis. And by funding research and working with our partners in the NHS, government and organisations both nationally and internationally, we strive to improve survival rates.

Our third release from our album Love and Dancing!

Love and Dancing is the second collection of 80's new wave tracks that the band has recorded in a ska and reggae style. Instead of releasing all the songs together as an album, the band will be releasing a song and video a month over the rest of 2016 with a goal of having all 10 songs compiled in the collection by the end of the year.

The album is called "Love and Dancing" because the songs the band has recorded so far are all about the ups and downs of love and the joys of dancing. It also pays homage to the Human League who had a side project called The League Unlimited Orchestra and released a remix of their "Dare" album with that title in the early 80's.

The first release from the album in April 2016 is a punky ska/new wave version of Soft Cell's "Tainted Love" which itself was a cover of the 1960's northern soul classic recorded by Gloria Jones.

The second release from the album in May 2016 is a 2-Tone/reggae version of The Cure's 1985 UK hit "Close To Me" from their studio album "The Head on The Door."

The third release from the album in June 2016 is a bouncy reggae version of Wang Chung's "Dance Hall Days" which was a hit on both sides of the Atlantic in 1984.
